The Ministry of Magic is these things and many more. Faced with its own corruption and incompetence, it is sinking lower and lower and drawing steadily further from the justice it once sought to protect.
Now it faces both quiet rebellion from those seeking to regain the values it once stood for and deadly infiltration from those wishing to destroy it from the inside.
With the threat of the Dark Lord removed by the universal hero of the wizarding world, it is now up to the survivors of the Great War to drag the Ministry from the depths.
The only question which remains is whether or not it can rise from the ashes and become once again the pillar it once was.
In the mean time, money, sex and power are the order of the day in every department. The Ministry is rife with scandal; illicit affairs, lies and deceit, bribery, extortion, embezzlement... it is a dog eat dog world and its every man for himself.
